Re: Mirror Art
Fractal Art, quite beautiful Maid
What most people don't know about Dali:
This painting is called Narcisus and reveals quite a bit:
This is what he wrote about it:
"Narcissus, in his immobility,
absorbed by his reflection
with the digestive slowness of carnivorous plants,
becomes invisible.
There remains of him only
the hallucinatingly white oval of his head,
his head again more tender,
his head, chrysalis of hidden biological designs,
his head held up by the tips of the water's fingers,
at the tips of the fingers
of the insensate hand,
of the terrible hand,
of the mortal hand
of his own reflection.
When that head slits
when that head splits
when that head bursts,
it will be the flower,
the new Narcissus,
Gala - my narcissus"
What most people don't know about Dali:
Dali supported the fascist coup by Franco; he applauded the brutal repression by that regime, to the point of congratulating the dictator for his actions aimed "at clearing Spain of destructive forces" (Dali's words). He sent telegrams to Franco, praising him for signing death warrants for political prisoners. The brutality of Franco's regime lasted to his last day. The year he died, 1975, he signed the death sentences of four political prisoners. Dali sent Franco a telegram congratulating him. He had to leave his refuge in Port Lligat because the local people wanted to lynch him. He declared himself an admirer of the founder of the fascist party, Jose Antonio Primo de Rivera. He used fascist terminology and discourse, presenting himself as a devout servant of the Spanish Church and its teaching--which at that time was celebrating Queen Isabella for having the foresight to expel the Jews from Spain and which had explicitly referred to Hitler's program to exterminate the Jews as the best solution to the Jewish question. Fully aware of the fate of those who were persecuted by Franco's Gestapo, Dali denounced Bunuel and many others, causing them enormous pain and suffering.

Re: Mirror Art
Dice ...... Thanks for a look into Dali's mind. Very dark. I had no idea. I wonder what the checker board symbolized in Narcisus?
The video that follows shows this Dali painting. I just noticed the checkerboard theme again below the cross:
"Dali's painting depicts Jesus, the Sun, crucified on the net of the
Tesseract, the 4th dimensional cubic bridge. The underlying concept
being the 3rd dimensional sun is a martyr for the opening of the 4th
dimension. It still remains the savior of mankind as it houses secrets
of time travel, the 4th dimension." ( The tesseract can be unfolded into eight cubes. Unfolding is called a net.)

Re: Mirror Art
The Freemasons are extremely fond of the checkerboard design.
The cross is actually a symbol for the cube. Also one of their favorites.
Very interesting...
To be honest..
I never liked his paintings. His colours are gross.
Nothing in comparison to those of Van Gogh for instance...
And I mean he always painted weired stuff...hmm

Re: Mirror Art
Dice ...... You're right about Dali. Very strange symbolism.
Check out the masonic bee symbolism in this one:
The catalyst for the dream, which is the pomegranate, hangs in the air with the bee flying toward it. Behind the pomegranate Gala's dream unfolds over a sea of brilliant blue. A naked Gala lies asleep as she hovers over a stone; an allusion to the common floating feeling that can occur in dreams.
To the left of Gala is a huge pomegranate that spills seeds on to the
sea below. Out of the pomegranate an angry, pink fish is emerging with a wide open mouth. A snarling tiger leaps out of the fish. From this tiger another emerges, its tail in the mouth of the previous one. The tigers are rushing toward Gala, their claws at the ready, but it is the bayonet, mirroring the sting of the bee, that will wake her.

Re: Mirror Art
Dali also visited the U.S. frequently. He referred to Cardinal Spellman as one of the greatest Americans. And while in the U.S., he named names to the FBI of all the friends he had betrayed. In 1942, he used all his influence to have Buñuel fired from the Museum of Modern Art in New York, where Buñuel worked after having to leave Spain following Franco's victory. Dali denounced Buñuel as a communist and an atheist, and it seems that under pressure from the Archbishop of New York, Buñuel had to leave for Mexico, where he remained for most of his life.

Re: Mirror Art
Wars have never hurt anybody except the people who die.
S. Dali
So what's the problem with these Occultists?
Morbid insanity? weird lower astral entity possessions?
"The Esoteric Order of the Golden Dawn."
The Golden Dawn satisfied Yeat's need to dig into his very core, and unleash what has been buried for so long. As Yeats soon discovered, the Golden Dawn Incorporated traditional European Cabalistic Magic and astrology, as opposed to the wisdom of the East. In addition, the Golden Dawn encouraged exploration and wielding of power. This highly pleased Yeats, and allowed him to open his magical aspirations to as high as he would go.
Aside from knowing various friends in the Golden Dawn that were previously attending the T.S., Yeats' decision to join the Golden Dawn can be credited to one of the Order's founders: S. L. MacGregor Mathers. His magical powers left a strong and lasting impression upon Yeats, and assured him of the validity of the Golden Dawn's Work.
More mirrored examples of Dali's Paintings:
This painting is called: "Geopoliticus Child watching the birth of the New Man", 1943
Following the fingertip it points at the bottom of the caspian sea...

Re: Mirror Art
Dice ..... Dali's paintings are morbid, and scary when mirrored.
I'd never seen this last one .... political and NWOish.
Dali has a strange way of depicting the human body that is unsettling.
Was Dali into secret societies and the occult?
Maybe his paintings are the key to finding out.

It's quite obvious isn't it. If I would have to guess I would say:
The Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn.

Dice,
If you'd ever like to be a mod at New Castle, please let me know.
You have a good eye for art. I think it would be smart to change the castle picture all the time.
I'll be back in a few hours.

Re: Mirror Art
THIS IS A FIRE RAINBOW - THE RAREST OF ALL NATURALLY
OCCURRING ATMOSPHERIC PHENOMENA.
THE PICTURE WAS CAPTURED THIS WEEK ON
THE IDAHO/WASHINGTON BORDER.
THE EVENT LASTED ABOUT 1 HOUR.
CLOUDS HAVE TO BE CIRRUS, AT LEAST 20K FEET IN THE AIR,
WITH JUST THE RIGHT AMOUNT OF ICE CRYSTALS AND THE
SUN HAS TO HIT THE CLOUDS AT PRECISELY 58 DEGREES.
Of course, I couldn't resist mirroring it

The right-brain one (on the right) looks more alert to me, what do you think?
Maybe i will try that on my kids.

Re: Mirror Art
Why do you post those romantic new age shaman pics anyway? If there's something a shaman hates it's such kitchy pictures. You know nothing about the shaman and he doesn't give a damn about you. Find your own tribe and culture. Your own religion. And don't take credit for someone else's.
Jaguar.....
I give a damn..........and your Spirit is amazing....
Let's keep in touch, wish I could have been posting on other forums, but there is so much to do it seems. You certainly do wake others up.
let's send each other some pics...........pasting them on forums is a drag.......
